The Colorado Department of Education has a service, the Colorado Talking
Book Library, that may be of help. See:

Subject: [PW] Audiobook services in Colorado?

Greetings!

Here in Missouri, there is a state program to provide audiobooks to folks
with special needs, called the Wolfner Library -
http://www.sos.mo.gov/wolfner/ . The Wolfner program even goes so far as to
provide readers and mail the audiobooks all over the state.

I am trying to find out (with no success so far) whether there is a similar
program in Colorado, on behalf of a Colorado woman who is losing her vision
to diabetes. She is computer-literate, so if the state has an online
program, that would work as well.

Also, I am looking for free audiobook options beyond the excellent list at
http://www.archive.org/details/audio_bookspoetry , as these programs seem to
mostly deal with non-copyright sources. Are there any programs that legally
provide some copyright materials, or are the commercial audiobook makers not
providing titles for such services?

Any help is much appreciated!
