[PW] Geneology Question

From the 1930 census I am sending you about 200 "Albert" entries from
Hennepin and Ramsey Counties, all born from 1920 to 1924. I'm a poor judge
of whether a surname is German or not, or I could have narrowed down
more. If your patron could compare these lists with the pages of the war
dead, she might be able to narrow it down some more. There are many ways
either of these lists could have missed him, however. He may have died
prior to December 7th, 1941, or in an non-military accident, so would he be
listed in these death rolls? He might have picked up another domicile in
his records, soldiers sent off to distant bases often did, so he might not
have been recorded as being from one of these counties when he died.

I think she would be better served by finding out more about her
mother. She may have had school friends who are still alive and knew more
about the "Albert" who fathered her child.
