A few questions back at ya. Is her father listed on her birth
certificate? If he was living with her mother at any time, she might
find them on census records by searching her mother. The records list
who was living in the same house when the census was taken. If she knows
where the family lived, a City Directory might work. Is she adopted?
If so, there may be a way to find the information on one of the adoption
sites. Is her name the same as her father's? Heritage Quest might be a
place to go, as is Ancestry.com. I have had trouble finding my
grandfather, since my grandmother married him when she was 15 and he
died when she was 19, (she was too young to ask him much about his
family) but I did find his WWI draft card on Ancestry. Good luck in your
search. I hope this helped some.
