I wonder whether it really was "climb down my rain barrel" in the
original sheet music, or whether the website has adapted the song for
modern children.  (I know when I was a kid in the early '70's I once
encountered an obviously modernized version that substituted "climb up
my rainbow".)  I have never seen the sheet music, but my grandmother
taught me to sing, "Shout down my rain barrel," which makes a lot more
sense.
