[PW] Turpentine clearing

Not that it enlightens the meaning of the term, but the first scene of
Paul Green's play <In Abraham's Bosom>, which won the Pulitzer prize in
1926, is set in a turpentine clearning.  I don't have a copy of the play
handy to see if it offers any further description.
