Assuming that by "Press Corps" you mean the reporters that covered
him: Using an online database, ProQuest Historical Newspapers, I
learned that one reporter at Third Army Headquarters in Bavaria was
Raymond Daniell of The New York Times. Using this info, I searched
Google and found a book called The Patton Papers 1940-1945 that
mentions a press conference attended by Daniell and some others named
Levin, Morgan, Deane, and Tanya.
The book preview is too limited to get their last names from the
excerpt (though they should all be in the index), but searching on
those names I found another book that gives a better list: General
Patton: A Soldier's Life (page 661). Turns out that Ernest C. Deane
was the press officer, Edward P. Morgan was from the Chicago Daily
News, Carl Levin was from the New York Herald Tribune, and Tania was
Daniell's wife. There may be additional info elsewhere in that book.
So I disagree that online databases are inadequate.
