For the archives: I imagine that the state governors and
Governor-General in Australia are technically viceroys as well. I
cannot say I have heard them referred to as such, but the adjective
viceregal is commonly applied to them.
These are unelected figureheads with no legislative function who carry
out ceremonial and head-of-state functions (with certain aberrations).
