There is a DVD available on Amazon called "Oscar's Black Odyssey: From
Hattie to Halle". C.2003 from Passport Video.  According to IMDb it has
footage from older Academy Awards.  Looks like it is available from
Blockbuster.

One of our patrons is looking Hattie McDaniel's acceptance speech for
Best
Supporting Actress at the 1940 Academy Awards. There are a number of
Oscar's
greatest moments tapes out there, but none that seems to have this
particular greatest moment. Does anyone have any idea where I might find
this? The patron has seen the speech on YouTube and is looking for a DVD
or
VHS tape of the event. TIA,
