[PW] Address change?

Actually, as far as I know, what you do with Mailman (the list
software we use) is to unsubscribe the old address and then subscribe
the new one. Or vice-versa if you're worried about missing a message.
You can do this by going to
http://lists.project-wombat.org/
and choosing the version of the list to which you are subscribed. In
order to unsubscribe, you will need to know exactly which address was
subscribed -- if there's forwarding going on, your real address won't
work.
(If you aren't sure what address is currently subscribed or to which
version you are subscribed, you can find out by using your mail client
to view the headers of any message which came to you from the list,
such as this one. The subscribed address will be in an "Envelope-To"
header, while the list version will be in a "List-id" header.)
Technically, you can also subscribe and unsubscribe by e-mail. But, as
I know from Stumpers, e-mail-based control for mailing lists is full
of ways for things to go wrong, so we don't officially support it.
(I am replying to the list on this question because this is not
actually in the FAQ. Yet another thing to add.)
