[PW] Boolean Search Experts...Arise!

Try something like this under the boolean search tab. mat=audiobook and au>=cles and ta=j

mat=audiobook gives you audiobooks. (The material type operator is system specific so change that if your audiobooks are called something other than just audiobook.)

au>=cles should give authors greater than or equal cles, but it does seem to search first names as well as last names. I think au=cles* would also work.

ta=j limits the target audience to juvenile.

There's a pretty good help section on Boolean searching under the help tab. That's where I found this. I hope this helps.

Subject: [PW] Boolean Search Experts...Arise!

Hi
everyone,

We
got
a
strange
request
that
I
cannot
seem
to
find
a
perfect
answer
for.
Here
it
is:

A
patron
wants
to
search
Children's
audiobooks
by
author,
but
only
wants
the
results
to
show
CL
and
beyond.
He
specificall
mentioned
Clery.

Now,
I
just
can't
seem
to
make
him
perfectly
happy.
He
wants
the
first
result
to
be
CLES
or
beyond.

Any
ideas
how
to
narrow
this
search
this
deeply?

Thank
you
so
much!

Matt
