[PW] Anybody remember these books?

These are for a homebound patron who gave the following plot summaries of
books she remembers:

 

1.) Fairies. The fairies (faerie?) live underground (in disguise?) but work
in the regular (human?) world.  

 

2.) Girl with white tiger. A young girl with a white tiger lives near the
stick guys in the trees (Pan?) with a theme of fighting good and evil.  

 

Sorry for the very thin descriptions! Many thanks if anyone remembers the
