[PW] ? DNA question

Chimerism and mosaicism can lead to more than one genetically distinct
cell line in the same individual. In some cases, two fraternal twins
merge early on in the early stages of development.

As someone else already mentioned, it is quite possible that the patron
misunderstood the precise details of the professor's discussion of her
genetics, since XYY can't produce a female. Then again, there was a
physical anthropology professor in my anthropology grad school days who
had some very "unique" (50 years out of date) views of human anatomy and
genetics. Either way, though, the joke in front of the class was highly
inappropriate.
