Dear fellow wombats,

In a paperon morality in the past and in the present Theodor Geiger
uses a quote from an American crime novel which had to have been
published before March 1950:
"There can't be a law for you, and a law for me, except in our minds.
There has to be one law covering both of us, like a blanket. Maybe our
feet will stick out, but ..."

Does anyone have an idea where this quotation may have come from? Does
anyone know of a discussion group or experts on the subject which may be
able to provide assistance.

Thank you very much,
Paul
