[PW] Adolphe Spitteler, dates

This is for me.

In 1897, a Bavarian named Adolf (or Adolph) Spitteler discovered casein plastics,
patenting the process in 1899 with Wilhelm Kirsche.  I can find no dates for
birth and death for Spitteler, and would be pathetically grateful for these
crumbs and a hint s to where they might be found.

I have seen the surnames cited in that spelling in enough German-language sources
to be fairly confident of them, the Wilhelm is open to some doubt, as he is
usually described as W. Kirsche
