[PW] Pre-Civil War music

In 1975, Charles Hansen Educational Music & Books published The American Bicentennial Song Book in Two Volumes.  It was a "Special Services Edition for U.S. Armed Forces Only", and was labeled a Program Aid of the Army Entertainment Program.  Covering twenty decades of American song and "collected by" William R. Ward (Professor of Music at San Francisco State University), volume 1 covers the 1770's to 1870's, and is 271 pages long.  The front cover of the book also labels it as Echoes of the Fiffer's Tune:  An American Revolution of Song, and identifies it as Armed Forces Song Folio Music Book:  Volume XXX, Numbers 1 and 2.  Library of Congress catalogue number is given as 75-14853.
 
I'm not a librarian and so I don't know whether a work this specialized is generally available.  The cover says it's "for use in Receration Services activities by Armed Forces personnel only;  not for sale or other commercial use."  I have a copy myself (I'm looking at it as I type) and could certainly send you a copy of the table of contents (broken out by decades), and if the patron could identify songs I could probably send you copies of those too.  I confess I'm not keen on copying all 271 pages.
