I found this on the FEMA page:
http://www.fema.gov/news/event.fema?published=1&id=1428 which confirms
it was declared but doesn't look like it includes the actual
declaration.

Might anyone have any suggestions where to find the text of Disaster
Declaration 227, issued April 25, 1967, in relation to the tornadoes
that went through Oak Lawn, Illinois? I am at a loss.

As always, thank you fr your assistance!

Try WorldCat.org today: http://www.worldcat.org/.

WorldCat.org allows you to search for books at U.S. libraries, including
"North E Multi-Regional Training" (as our name appears in the listing).
The system uses your zip code to show which libraries in your area have
those books. You can then take that information to your public or
college library, and ask the interlibrary loan librarian to borrow a
nearby copy. If NEMRT has a copy, just give me a call about borrowing
it. I'll look forward to hearing from you!
