[PW] "The Dude abides" & "Jesus Saves"

BTW, Going around the Library today saying "the Dude Abides" made me 
think about similar archetypal references which you've probably 
already thought about - "Frodo Lives," "Hayduke Lives" (interestingly 
enough, both these may be synonymous with the "hippie culture" and 
time period of "The Dude" and his early life), and even "Jesus 
Saves."  Anyone know the aprox. date the last phrase was coined?
