Possibly the Barbara Michael's title SHATTERED SILK.  If not, maybe one
of the companion titles (STITCHES IN TIME, AMMIE-COME-HOME?

Urrh.  Now that I think of it, it's hard to think of any Barbara
Michaels titles that doesn't involve sorting / being chased through an
attic!

Hi Wombats, 
I'm looking for a title of a book by Elizabeth Peters/Barbara Michaels.
I don't remember much of the plot, but it revolved around a woman (a
student on break, maybe?) hired to sort through an attic. At the end,
there is a scene where she is chased through the attic by someone trying
to kill her. Not much, I know, but I figure someone will remember it.
It's not House of Many Shadows. It's just for me, no hurry.
