[PW] Crom Crua and his war-gods twelve?

I'd actually tried Crom Cruach, but suddenly remembered that it 
wasn't war-gods in the poem, but sub-gods - and here it is, or part 
of it, by Ferguson. Thanks, Matt, for sparking my slow brain:

     " 'Crom Cruach and his sub-gods twelve,'
     Said Cormac, 'are but craven treene;
     The ax that made them, haft or helve,
     Had worthier of our worship been:

     " 'But He who made the tree to grow,
     And hid in earth the iron-stone,
     And made the man with mind to know
     The ax's use, is God alone.' "
