[PW] Need article from American Mercury magazine (1957)

Yes, it was reprinted one year later in the same publication -- this 
time without the illustrations.  I will send both to snopes.

An amusing little essay.  It starts:

"There's nothing sadder than the childless couple.  It breaks you up 
to see them stretched out relaxing around swimming pools in Florida, 
sitting all suntanned and miserable on the docks of their boats, or 
going off to Europe like lonesome fools.  It's an empty 
life.  There's nothing but more money to spend, more time to enjoy, 
and a whole lot less to worry about..."
