[PW] Academic Library Consortiums

I am working on a paper in my quest for an MLS degree and am personally looking for articles or books concerning consortiums.  Especially those that academic libraries belong to.  My main interest is cost versus benefits both financially and concerning resources.  I will take any suggestions even personal experiences.
