I work at the Curriculum Lab for the University of Iowa and one of our
instructors is trying to locate a specific series of laserdiscs that
were very popular in the early 1990's ( We're really going back here on
this one!) He is interested in acquiring, maybe even eventually
purchasing this series. He remembers using it as a teacher and has
access to a machine, but he can't find the disc anymore. Do you know if
any of the AEA's might still have this series or of any company that
might still sell them?
Below is a link to a site which still resides out there on the
internet, but is really old. The series was called the Jasper Project
and it is described as follows: The Adventures of Jasper Woodbury is a
problem-solving series of twelve multimedia videodiscs. Each contains a
"discrete adventure and challenge . . . [in the form of] a short
(approximately 20 minute) video story in which Jasper and his friends
confront a problem to be solved"

I would welcome any ideas about how I could help him locate this series.
Sincere thanks, Barb
