This one's for me, for no other reason than personal nostalgia &
curiosity...
I've been looking for a long time for a description of a toy playset
that my best friend and I played with when we were little, a miniature
version of Disneyland, with a railroad around it, that was almost a
whole table long. I recently found a picture of it in a book of 1960s
ads, but only the picture is shown, with no description, captioning,
name, etc. The only text identifies it just as "Sears 1961". I'm certain
this must've been a Sears exclusive, and the 1961 is probably the 1961
Wishbook. So...just on the outside chance....do any fellow w*mb*ts (or
their libraries) just happen to have the 1961 Wishbook handy, with the
picture of the Disneyland table-long playset and the catalog
description? And if so, could you tell me what the text says, or scan it
to me?
Thanks tremendously!
