Probably not helpful, but how about going to a pre-WWII Lithuania atlas and/or gazetteer? The Jewish community was pretty much wiped out in Lithuania, if Jewish perhaps the community no longer exists.

Subject: [PW] trying to locate Lithuanian town
We have a patron with immigration/naturalization papers for both his
father and grandfather, dated 1902, listing place of birth as
Kopishich/Kopisich, Lithuania. He would like to locate this place on a
map. None of our atlases, historic or otherwise, have been helpful. Also
checked the list of place names on www.fallingrain.com
<http://www.fallingrain.com/> without success. Any ideas? Thanks.
