[PW] looking for fiction title c.1975

Hi Wombats
I'm trying to remember the title to a work of fiction I read as a kid,
in about 1975-6. This is all I can remember; the main character is a
young girl,  she finds a house in the woods, I believe it was
abandoned, and something about it was pink. Either a room she saw
through a window was pink or the whole thing was pink on the outside.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
