[PW] Ft Hood

Normally I would recommend using the USGS Geographic Names Information
System at http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnispublic/, but in this case a
search for "fort hood" limited to Texas retrieves only the Fort Hood
Recreation Area (a park) in Bell County. On the other hand, there's a link
on the GNIS query form page labeled "Old FIB55 Query" which brings up a
superseded search form. The same search using that form retrieves four
records: two for "Fort Hood (U.S. Army)," one in Bell County and one in
Coryell County, and a similar two for "Fort HIll (CCD)" (where CCD stands
for "census county division"). The links from these records for more
detailed information no longer work.

I don't know why these records have disappeared, or why the Fort Hood
Recreation Area doesn't show up in the old system. Are there any Wombats
with maps or census data expertise who might have any idea of what is going on?
