The Hazardous Materials Information System (HMIS), a database maintained by
the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS/DLA), is changing its name
to the Hazardous Materials Information Resource System (HMIRS). HMIRS will
continue to be a repository for Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs). "
