Everyone-

I have a picture book/primer identification question that is driving me
crazy. The particulars: It is a small (thin) book with color
illustrations. The illustrations show a schoolhouse with a (white)
teacher and her (white) pupils. There are a lot of trees in the
background, like in a forest. The text rhymes, and here are some of the
lines (the 1st three by our patron; the next two by somebody who saw the
book in a Goodwill or Salvation Army store, and would like to find it
again:

Orange, bright, be polite.
Green, green, don't be mean.
Pink, pink, come to the sink.
Bunny so funny, cat so fat.
Blue, blue (something or another)

I was thinking that it might be a Golden Book, but I have not been able
to verify this. Oh--and the book is more than 20 years old.

TIA for any help you can give me.
