Well, one would hope not.  Does ALA have an official stance on the
question, or are they just presumed to be afraid of associating
themselves with anyone holding views at all controversial?  If so,
I'd imagine they would have kept their distance simply on the basis
of his having published a book called DIRTY JOKES & BEER. . .
