For any of you looking for a book to give a toddler, you might think about 
giving "Bad dog Marley," also by Grogan.  It is an absolutely adorable book. 
When we gave it to our 3 year old granddaughter we wound up reading it to 
her at least 10 times in a period of less than 24 hours!  The illustrations 
and text are wonderful.
