Sounds like Frank Sinatra and the Hoboken Four. Several bios on the web note
that he started with the Hoboken Four in the 1930s before joining trumpeter
Harry James' band and then joined Tommy Dorsey's orchestra.

Subject: [PW] Singer of songs

Hi Wombatters, you were all great. Twin Peaks was indeed the good
answer.

But I need your help again, this time with very little clues:

After a succesfull tour through the South of the United States with a
quartet, this young singer joins a group of minstrels. We are looking
for the name of the before mentioned quartet. The young singer performed
already before the Second World War on 78 rpm-records.

Hello Wombatters,

The company dot tk (http://www.naute.com/heart/tokelau.php) had a branch
in San Francisco. In the neighbourhood of the branch is a protected area
/ national park, whose name is the same as an innovative prize-winning
tv-series. The director was once nominated for an movie-Oscar, but
didn't win. We like to know the name of the tv-sries and it's director.

Can someone help us?

Best regards,
