Ubiquitous Google now has a patent search. Dropping the first "d" from
"Sandford" and searching on "Sanford clickster" brought up this patent:

which looks right if I scanned it correctly....

Subject: [PW] ? Clickster Mechanical Pencil?

We have a patron who needs the patent number for a mechanical pencil
called the Clickster that was manufactured by the Sandford Company. The
term clickster brings up 4 patents that are unrelated to what he is
seeking and
"mechanical pencil" brings up over 170 items. Could anyone with a bit
more expertise find the patent number or a means to do so? Thank you.
