We all like a challenge, right?!

Patron wants to know the name of a movie he saw in approx. 1988-89. A
yellow miniature space ship comes to Earth to clean up an oil spill. He
doesn't know any of the actors involved. He says he saw it on
television, so I don't know if it was a T.V. movie or a full-length film
shown on T.V.

My thanks in advance for any help you might offer. This is the same
patron who frequently asks for the schematics to design a teleportation
device, and tells us there are not enough healing properties in the
water coming out of the water cooler.
