I figured as much and you guys (and gals) have been more than helpful in
reinforcing my thinking about Arabella Drummond.
You've been a big help - thanks. (and on that note, I am going to close
the question)

Subject: Re: [PW] "Arabella Drummond"
Considering that the book "Pirateology," the story of the "discovery" of
the logbook of one Captain William Lubber of the "Sea Cat" who spends
his time chasing the infamous female pirate Arabella Drummond is a work
of juvenile fiction, I would suggest that the name "Arabella Drummond"
is also fiction.
"Publisher's note: Pirateology was allegedly found in an old sea chest
by divers searching for wrecks off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland in
2006. ... Research has revealed no other traces of William Lubber, his
ship The Sea Cat, or his nemesis, Arabella Drummond"--P. preceding t.p.
The book was written in a fashion that simulates non-fiction.
I only know of one pirate with the name Drummond and that was Edward
Drummond who later became Edward Teach (Blackbeard).

I have a patron that is looking for info (enough for 2 page report)
about: Arabella Drummond, a female pirate. Her name does not appear in
any of the female pirate books we have here.
All I have found so far is that she is named in the book / series
"Pirateology" (which I do not have access to).
Need more info, please help.
