This is the "Dawn of Modern Warfare" page from from the History
Department of the United States Military Academy:

I used Tinyurl since the real url was quite long. Anyway, this is a
link to atlases that cover the period.

Subject: [PW] battles of Reformation maps online
Hi, all,
I am a online Library Science student at Clarion University of
Pennsylvania.
Our intro to reference class had a question this past week that had me
grinding
my teeth. The question was find a map of the battles of the
Reformation/Counter-Reformation. This would be a snap if our library (I
work
in the reference dept) had had one of several atlases (Atlas of Medieval
Europe, for instance). But they don't. I found some partial information
so
that a "patron" could have made their own map, including some good stuff
online, but nothing complete. Does anyone know of an ONLINE SOURCE that
would
have this info? I found maps of the Thirty Years War of rootsweb, but
nothing
that covers the entire period 1517-1648. This assignment has already
been
turned in.
Thanks!
