[PW] LofC copyright requirements: printed copy vs. cd copy?

It's pretty clear that the work must be printed. The deposit
requirement for an unpublished literary work states: "Typewritten,
photocopied, and legibly handwritten manuscripts, preferably in ink,
are all acceptable for deposit."
(http://www.copyright.gov/register/literary.html) Even for an online
literary work at least some printed pages are required
(http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ66.html). But maybe they've
revised their policy and just haven't updated the Web site.
