[PW] Mary Hagidorn

Patron is first grader who needs basic facts about a Revolutionary War
woman warrior named Mary Hagidorn.  Only thiong we have found is a
anecdote in which Mary Hagidorn refuses to go into a cellar while the
British are attacking a fort commanded by a Capt. Hager.  In poetic
language she refuses, he agress to allow her to fight and the fort is
saved.

Was there a real Mary Hagidorn?   This sounds too much like a
historical orb poetic myth to me.
