It's Adrian's fault. I've just vastly re-written the Wikipedia article
on the Peckhams. Now I'm wondering whether there's a womb at t at Rice or
UCLA who could check whether the "Poems" by Elizabeth G. Peckham is in
fact by Milwaukee's E.G. Peckham, or another woman of the same name
and birthyear, since Rice and UCLA are the only places on WorldCat
which hold the said 100-page volume, published in London(!) in 1897.
