Abstract I. This is a very able account of substances which
commonly cause poisoning in domesticated animals, and of the sources
from which they are derived; it should be read by all interested in
veterinary toxicology. The problem is discussed under the following
headings: -industrial poisons, lead and its common toxic compounds, weed
killers, warble fly dressing, worm killer, vermin killers, drugs, foods
and poisonous plants. Many useful references are given.
