Jeff, I did some research on your question for my graduate class, and
here are the answers I have come up with. If you would like my
sources, let me know and I will e-mail them to you. Hope this helps!
These Books have never been out of print:
"The Scarlet Letter" by Nathaniel Hawthorne has had an edition
printed almost every year.
"The Call of the Wild" by Jack London
"To Kill a Mocking Bird" by Harper Lee

I need to do a quick comparison of Walden in relation to other American
classics. Walden has been in print since its author died in 1862, has
been reprinted in more than 150 editions, and has been translated into
every world language.
Does anyone know which other American classics have remained virtually
in print since publication?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Jeff
