Hi,

Thanks for all your help.  The painting in question is the one on the cover
of the book "Hour upon the Stage" by Ann Pinchot.  The artist is Carl
Moline.  What the patron *really* wanted was the original painting.  She was
looking for information on Ann Pinchot's heirs.  Combination of
misunderstood request and the info being based from one librarian to
another!  Reminded me of the game where you whisper a phrase from one person
to another to see what comes out at the end.  We did find some Pinchots in
Connecticut so she is contacting them.
