Cheerleading competitions?

Crew racing with male or female coxswain (often a female cox for men's
eights).

What about community level sports with co-ed teams? Soccer, softball,
ultimate (Frisbee). Some of these sports may require a minimum number of
female players.

Softball may not be the best example since some softball leagues have rules
to prevent walking a male player to get to a female player, and some have a
women's size ball for the female players....

This year's winner of the Belmont Stakes was the filly Rags to Riches,
the first filly to win this event in more than a century. Are there other
sporting events -- involving athleticism -- in which males and females
compete on an equal footing (so to speak)? TIA
