A Mary Elizabeth Reed of the proper age (age 36yrs 4mo 26d) (bday ~
Jan 6, 1853) died in Manchester, NH, May 2, 1889, but is listed on the
Derry records because she was "brought to Derry for internment." This
Mary Elizabeth Reed would also have been 19 in December, 1872.

Manchester, NH, and Newburyport, MA, are about twenty-five miles apart
as the crow flies.

Could this be your Mary Elizabeth Reed?
