There is a later reference in the FindArticles website from 1998.  An interview
with NJ Gov. Christie Whitman credits him as a member of the Mercer Business
Magazine Committee:

I don't see any other references to Frank Tyger and Mercer County.  There are
some references to a Mary Tyger and a Michael Tyger in that area; perhaps these
are relatives?

If you search Google with this specific phrase (be sure to include the commas):

  frank tyger, mercer, nj

you will get a couple of addresses and phone numbers, one in Trenton, one in
Barnegat, NJ.
