[PW] site in Hertfordshire -- thanks

Many, many thanks to Dan, Jeff, Frances, and Andri for the great help in
finding out more about this house.  The book (The Poetical Works of
Christina Georgina Rossetti) must be from the library of The Wilderness.
Subsequent owners were Harold and Mary Strandness, who gave it to Marion
and Cyrus Peake, who gave it to the college library.  

It is helpful to know about the family and their relatives and
professions, as it answers several other questions.

A search of GoogleBooks retrieves an entry in the "Royal Blue
Book:Fashionable Directory and Parliamentary Guide", which was a
directory of posh denizens of London:
