You are correct. I was looking at another document and inferred his  
birth date as one of the dates. My dad created a spreadsheet version  
of the family tree and I've not looked at it since he died couple  
years ago. My dad lists his father's birthdate as Sept 1, 1892,

My grandfather's father was Richard Shelton Nethery, born Nov 15, 1869
My grandfather's mother was Lovedie Campbell Tyson, daughter of  
Tompson "Thomas" Syler Tyson born June 16, 1824 and Sallie Anderson,  
born Sept 24, 1832 in Chester Co, SC

Geeeeeezzzz! My dad was such a duffus. (and by association ... me too)

Stanton Kee Nethery III, me.
My parents were Stanton Kee Nethery Jr. and Lou Ann Shannon.
Stanton Kee Nethery Jr's parents were Stanton Kee Nethery and Bertha  
Madden.
Stanton Kee Nethery's parents were Lovedie Campbell Tyson and Richard  
Shelton Nethery.
Lovedie Campbell Tyson's parents were Sallie Anderson and Tompson  
"Thomas" Syler Tyson.
Sallie Anderson's parents were Elizabeth Williams __Key__ and John  
Anderson.

I'm going to make the giant assumption leap that perhaps Lovedie  
thought that her grandmother's maiden name was spelled Kee instead of  
Key.

I cannot believe that my dad, who created the family tree spreadsheet  
with all this data on it, didn't mention to me about Elizabeth  
Williams Key. I had asked him numerous times about the origin of Kee.

Ooooh  ooooh, fun fact....
Elizabeth Williams Key's parents were Daniel Key and Sarah Daniel  
somebody
Daniel Key's parents were Winifred Kimble (or Kimbrel) and .... Luck  
Key (born in Greenville SC)

What a name.

My dad died several years ago (my mother two years before him) and  
I've still not gone through the boxes of photos from their house or  
the files on his computer. I had not looked at this spreadsheet ever  
and when you mentioned the birth dates being wrong, I went exploring  
in the computer files and found these trees.
