As a researcher I never thought that I'd be saying
this but I'm looking for a book and I don't know the
author or the title but I don't know how else to look
for this!

It is a hard cover non-fiction book written by a
dressmaker or seamstress in New York City.  I had this
book in the late 1960's so it was written before then
but probably not before the 1950's.

It is like a memoir although she includes sewing
instructions for some of her designs.

I was wondering if you had come across this in your
collections since I noticed that you've included some
sewing books and if you might know the title or author.
