Dear Colleagues,

I was wondering if any of you have special collections, or other
non-circulating collections, from which staff are allowed to borrow, and, if
so, what parameters you set up for use of the material, etc. This has been
an on-going question here and I’d like to see what other libraries may be
doing. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks. - -Jeff

"I have sometimes imagined a library, i.e. a collection of the works of true
poets, philosophers, naturalists, etc., deposited not in a brick and marble
edifice in a crowded and dusty city. . . but rather far away in the depths
of the primitive forest. . ."
 -- Henry D. Thoreau, 3 February 1852
