The information below was supplied by Bob Sullivan, Schenectady County
Public Library.  

He sent the obituary to the patron making the query and she wrote to say
"both the Library Director & I think that she is probably the author of
the speech.  Thanks again."

 

"We do have an index for 1985 and Ann (Guiltinan) Farry died 10/6.
Doesn't say her middle name was Barbara, but she was 81, so this could
be your person.

 

She was a teacher and a member of the friends of the museum and the
historical society, but it's hard to judge her interests from that.
