Our late valued Stumpers colleague David Kresh has an obituary in the
December 2006 issue of American Libraries:

"David B. G. Kresh, 66, a poet and reference specialist in poetry at the
Library of Congress for 38 years until his 2006 retirement, died September
26 of prostate cancer. Kresh joined the Library of Congress as a Special
Recruit in 1966. He published two volumes of poetry, _Bloody Joy: Love
Poems_ and _Sketches after Pete's Beer_, with a third, _Turn Off or Use
Opener_, to be published later this year. Kresh was a member of Beta Phi
Mu and poet-in-residence at the Capitol Hill Daily School, where he worked
to introduce poetry to children in second through eighth grades."
